Located in the center of the so called Sun belt, the country is part of the vast region without precipitation, which stretches from the west coast of North Africa to the east coast of Central Asia and has the greatest solar resources on earth. With the record oil prices this country attract the attention of the growing number of European leaders who embrace ambitious plan to use this energy in their countries, says the magazine Forbes.

French President Nicolas Sarkozy and British Prime Minister Gordon Brown also publicly supported the project for the network in recent weeks. Meanwhile, the conflict between Georgia and Russia, which showed the size of Europe’s energy insecurity, and it has undoubtedly increased support for the plan of TREC.
