I’m not sure if these are the answers they’re looking for. The only way to know is to look at your lessons, and see what was being studied.
1) The rotation of the earth. This lets the night side and day side take turns getting sun. Also to a lesser extent, the revolution of the earth around the sun. Because the earth’s axis is tilted, this gives us seasons.
2) Ocean currents. These carry heat and cooling from one part of the ocean to another.
3) Wind currents like the Jet Stream. Same idea.
